3. COMPETITION RULES
3.1 The competitions are open to all veteran members of the Association Clubs.
3.2 An entry fee per player, determined at the AGM shall be payable.
3.3 Matches will be played on a date chosen by the Competition Secretary and will start at 10am.This time may be varied depending on the number of entries, provided that all competitors are informed in advance by the host club.
3.4 A draw will be made on the day for the first round ( and Preliminary ) and then the competitions will proceed on a knock out or round robin basis.
3.5 In pairs and triples, qualifying members from different clubs may play together.
3.6 Replacements are allowed up to the start of play.
3.7 The main trophies may be displayed in the winners club house but must be returned to the secretary before the following years competition.
3.8 Each round will normally consist of 11 ends with a final of 15 ends. They may be played as a knock out.
4. COMPETITION PROCEDURE
4.1 Entries must be submitted to the secretary prior to the closing date.
4.2 Fees should be collected by the club representatives and either forwarded to the secretary or produced on the day.
4.3 The Competition day will be arranged and controlled by the host club.
4.4 The draw will be made by the host club.
4.5 Results should be forwarded to the secretary.

The competition will be played with 4 woods (the number of ends may be varied if necessary because of the number of entrants).

The competition will be played with 3 woods (the number of ends may be varied if necessary because of the number of entrants).
IRENE WARD TROPHY
The competition will be played with 2 woods (the number of ends may be varied if necessary because of the number of entrants).
